Terms & Conditions

Age and Licence

Drivers must be over 21 years of age and must hold a current motor car driver’s licence.  A local, overseas or international licence is acceptable.

Mileage

All hire fees include unlimited** kilometers.  Vehicles are not to be driven on unsealed roads.

Tourist Information

An extensive range of tourist maps and brochures are available at our office free of charge.

Pick Up and Drop Off

Free pick up and drop off are available by appointment within a 10 km radius of our office including Cairns Airport.

Children

Baby seats and kids booster seats are available.

Insurance

For accidents involving other vehicles the insurance excess for persons over 25 years of age is $1500 and $2000 for persons 21yrs to 25yrs.

Insurance excess for single vehicle accidents is $2000 25 yrs + and $2500 for 21yrs to 25yrs.

Insurance excess may be reduced by $1000 in all cases at a cost of $11.50 per day.  Tyres and windscreen damage are not covered by insurance. 

Please Note

Credit card pre authorization release times vary from bank to bank.  Most Australian banks release pre authorizations after 4 working days from the time of the transaction. 


**Area of Use

The area of use for our vehicles covers Cooktown*, Cape Tribulation*, Daintree*, Port Douglas, Palm Cove, Cairns, Mission Beach, Innisifail, Tablelands & Townsville.

*During wet season these area can be off limits due to the safety of the passengers and vehicles.

Vehicles are to be returned full of fuel and in clean condition
